Every March and September, Phoenix Festivals, Inc. gathers for a five day, four night outdoor event at Wekiwa Springs Youth Camp to share and celebrate our beliefs. Each day is filled with workshops, community meals, live entertainment, rituals, drumming, and dancing. We strive to provide an unforgettable and spiritual experience in a fun and safe environment. All ages are welcome to this Metaphysical Retreat in a gorgeous, natural setting.

A Memorial for Ardy Carter, a founding member of Phoenix Phamily will be held at 4pm on Saturday, Sept 20th.
Ardeith Carter was The Crone.
So what’s a “Crone”?
She is an old Woman, the Wise Woman, the Deep Woman,
sometimes she can look into your Soul.
She may not be the most pleasant person you know.
She may be bossy, arrogant, judgmental and not fair at all.
She may be a good person.
She may be a real Bitch.
She will be all of those things and more.
Ardeith Carter was all of those things and more.
We remember her facets, her wisdom, her moods, her drive
but we never saw all of her, that would take a lifetime, her lifetime,
the lifetime needed to make a Crone.
A lifetime of hurts and pleasures,foolishness survived,
generosity expressed and accepted, Magic.
Magic.
Love of the Goddess.
Love of the garden, love of life.
Love of the tiny marvels and the grand expression.
Love of her people.
No, Ardy is a memory, many memories, but The Crone lives on,
in the shape of the Dragonwood, that she created,
of The Phoenix Fire she helped to create’
in the lives she affected in her moment under the light of the Moon.
