This pagan gathering site is conveniently located in Central Florida at 2505 West Bella Vista Street in Lakeland, FL. This is the same site with the same accommodations as we had in October, at AutumnMeet 2009. The solar showers worked very well, the portopotties were adequate, and we’ll be adding more for this event.

Tent camping is available and RV’s are welcome, but there are no RV hookups on this site. There is no electricity available on site. Generators are welcome but their use will restrict your available camping area choices (this applies to RV’s also). Alternative methods of power generation are also welcomed and encouraged.

The site boasts ample room, drumming all night, a swimming pool, and an owner who is very friendly to all of our community. Close to Exit 31 from I-4. Phoenix Phyre 2010 will be held in a wonderful grove “Under the Oaks”.

Ground fires are NOT permitted but campfires in those raised portable campfires are, after a safety inspection by our staff to make sure you’ve raked the combustibles away from the fireplace and have water or an extinguisher nearby. There is no extra wood for a fire on site though, so remember to bring wood for your fire!

The site is clothing optional and skyclad friendly. We will be moving the RV area to the eastern side of the site to restrict visual access to that public road, allowing for a greater area of skyclad friendliness.

There are many hotels, restaurants, grocery stores nearby.

Please make every effort to pack out what you pack in. It’s just the right thing to do and “Mom” likes it.

Do You Digeridoo? Presented by Jeremy

Having roots in Australia, the Didgeridoo or Yidaki stems from the unique and timeless Aboriginal Culture. It is thought to be one of the oldest musical instruments on the planet. Jeremy is pleased to present a workshop on how to play this mystical instrument. No experience is necessary to attend this workshop and even if you do not own or have access to a didgeridoo, that is just fine. Jeremy will have his student didgeridoos for everyone to learn on. This workshop is very flexible and is usually catered to the participants at that time. I typically spend 30 minutes on beginners and 30 minutes on the intermediate/advanced students, if attending. Everyone is encouraged to stick around as knowledge is openly shared by all. This workshop is open to everyone, from the Young to Young at Heart or man, woman or child. Please be prepared…..Bring water and your sense of fun and adventure!

Bio: Jeremy is a modern master of the didgeridoo as well as many other instruments. Since 1998 he has been crafting his own didgeridoos, performing and instructing others on the modern methods of how to play the didgeridoo. His passion for the didgeridoo is all consuming and he would like to share his passion with you.

Are you born with psychic abilities? Can only a chosen few learn this ability? And, what is Psychometry anyway? Attend this workshop and learn that everything contains energy and objects that are with you all, or most, of the time contain your energy which can be read, felt or seen by those who are open. Some say you must be born with this psychic ability known as Psychometry while others believe it is a skill that it can be learned. We will share stories and experiment to see which is true. Be sure to bring an object that is usually close to you (ring, bracelet, keys, etc.) for a fun exercise.
