Packing for Phestival & Emergency Info

Below is a list of suggested items.
If you scroll to the end of this page you will find
our recommended emergency list and

what we have available in case of an emergency.

Festival and Camping Gear

Below is a suggested list of things that we bring and find useful to give us the best festival experience possible. It is just a suggested list but we hope it helps you. We start planning in advance, use inexpensive plastic containers and tubs to keep things in, and start getting ready and packing a week or two before going to the festival.

Main Equipment – Living Space

Tent, poles, stakes, rain fly (If it is new tent, please set it up once before the
festival. If it is a tent you already have, open it and inspect it for any wear
or damage that may have happened in storage.)
Hammer!!!
Screen enclosure or tarp, poles, stakes
Tarp for under tent to protect the bottom
Tables, one for kitchen and food preparation and one to eat at.
Chairs plus extra (you might have company!)
Spare stakes
Carpeting for the tent floor and ground cover for those who can’t live without the
comforts of home

Kitchen

We offer a meal plan to the Phamily for those who don't want to cook.
It's
available when you register.
Check it out!!!

If you decide to cook your own meals, here are a few tips:

Plan your menu, precook and freeze everything you can. It keeps
your food fresh, your cooler colder longer and saves on ice. Make a list of
these foods so you don’t leave anything behind.

Food, Snacks

(Stores are just a few minutes away but do you really want to leave the festival??)
Cooler and ice

We will have ice available on site and you can buy it from one of the
ICE QUEENS!!!
(we freeze ice starting a week or two in advance    using a 9×9 cake pan and water in a 1 gallon Ziploc bag. Once frozen we pop it    out and start another one. Blocks last longer and the 9×9 seems to be perfect    for our cooler. We also save cubes. Ice from your home freezer is colder than the ice you buy.)
Stove and fuel; bring extra fuel
Plywood or a board to place under stove to protect plastic table from heat

Emergency or Medical Items

We do have a first aid station and first responders on the
festival grounds at all times to handle any emergency.
We are just 5 minutes from the local hospital.
Please read the following so if there is an emergency we can get you
the best help possible without any type of delay.
***************************
What you should bring:
--First Aid kit
--Non- prescription drugs like Motrin, aspirin, Tums
--Prescription Medications in their bottle. This is in case of an
emergency and they need to know what medications you take.
--We recommend that you tell the medical coordinator on site
if you have any special needs or requirements.
--Make a list of Emergency Contacts, insurance information, allergies,

medications or other pertinent information and tell someone where you put it.
**If you have a Florida Driver’s License, you can go to:

https://www8.hsmv.state.fl.us/eci/
and enter your emergency contacts with the Department of Motor Vehicles.

*****Many people now order their prescritions in larger supplies to save money. If this is the case, most pharmacies will be happy to print you a label and give you a smaller bottle/vile to put your prescriptions in for travel. Just ask your pharmacy, they don't bite. If they do, time for a new pharmacy!

***************************
We hope this list helps you pack. If you have any suggestions or things you would like to add to the list, just let us know. The first time we brought solar lights we thought we were a little eccentric but now we see that everyone brings them!
You never know, you may have a brilliant idea.

We are just an email away!
