Registration Team!!

We have the most AWESOME Registration Team!!! We are sure you will meet them at the festival. Below is a list of the the team so you know who they are.

Trish

Picture
The Phoenix Festival Treasurer / Registration Coordinator. Trish also
serves as the Treasurer / Secretary of the Phoenix Festival Inc. – a member of the Board of Directors.  As part of the phamily for over 5 years, she has experienced several of the festival’s changes and wants to ensure its continuance by doing whatever it takes.   She holds a degree in accounting, has been Treasurer for other organizations in the past, home schools her kids and organizes a secular home school group. As you can see, she is our
“Queen Multi-Tasker”

Kate Ellis

Hello to all!!

I am Kate Ellis, affectionately known as the Gate Keeper.  I am the first person you see when you enter Phoenix Festival and I think it is the best job on the team. I get to meet and greet all of our Faithful and Newbies to the Festival.

I have been in this community for 16 years with my family - my husband and my daughter. We attended our first event,  Autumn Meet, in 1995. We loved it!! We  brought our daughter, Julia, at the age of of 2. She has grown up among the most wonderful people and I would not have it any other way. Thank You for helping us make Julia the person she is today.

I had been a Hearth Mother for a Year and one day when Dianne Berlin asked me if I could help her with Registration. Ha ha! And here I am today 14 years later and I
love it!!!

In my personal life, I have been a Mail Clerk in Shipping, receptionist and many others jobs. I was in the clerical world for 20 years. One of my Many Talents is I can remember most of the Faces and names of our returning Attendees and they say that makes them feel like they have returned home. I, also, send them off will a a laugh and a smile because when I am done signing them in by giving them a hug and this little saying, "You are now tagged and free to go into the wild!"

Blessed Be!
The Gate Keeper

Elise Dietz

Picture
Elise Deitz is a fairlynew member Team Phoenix and first
attended in October 2011. She is newly married to her high school sweet heart Todd Dietz who has been a staff member from nearly the beginning.

Elise has worked site with Todd but this festival she will be joining the registration team. Her sweet smile and bubbly personality will be very welcoming to those coming in the gate.

Like many of us, Elise has been a solitary pagan for many, many years, but she did practice as a Wiccan in New Orleans through the High Priest and owner of the Witch Craft shop in the French Quarter.

Although Elise is now a retired RN, she is currently following her dream and, along with her beloved Todd, she has started a dog rescue, Animal Alley Rescue, Inc. You can check out their website at:   http://www.animalalleyrescue.org

"I feel that working with animals is my calling. I love the Phoenix Phamily and am honored to work with such a wonderful group of people."

Here's Brenda!!

Picture

Brenda hails originally from Arkansas. (this explains her extreme accent!)

She has been a Jacksonville, Florida, resident since 1987. She is a wife, mother, and artist. She holds a BA in graphic art and loves to draw, sculpt, and to take old, odd things and make them beautiful. (or even more odd)

We figured she would be a natural as a herald because of her loud mouth.

I'm sure some of you remember hearing her in the middle of the night during the last festival. She promises to let you sleep, unless you get chosen as a midnight ninja target!!
