Workshops are a big part of our event. We have workshops scheduled throughout the day on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. Over 30 workshops will be available and the subject matters have a wide range. Something for everyone! Our workshops are given by guest speakers, honored members and phamily. If you would like to do a workshop yourself, please fill out the workshop application. Life Path and Soul Contract

Are we really on our life path? Can we change our soul contract? We begin the workshop by raising our vibration, followed by a discussion about our life path and soul contract. There will be an experiential exercise working with our life path. If time permits, there will be an opportunity to work with specific aspects of our soul contract. This workshop is sure to be an eye opener. Portions of this workshop will be channeled so there may be a few surprises along the way. Bring notebook and pen, you may wish to record your experience.
Round Table Discussion with Your Guides!! (this is not a workshop! This is a channeling session we will have int he evening!!)

We will begin with a short meditation to raise the vibration of the group, set sacred space, and move in to our place of truth.  From here we will form our question or  statement of intent.  As we know from experience the more concise the question/intent the greater in detail the information.  Each of us, excluding myself will be asked to write down a question or topic and place it in a container of sorts.    Someone will randomly pull the topic.  The information will be channeled with question and answer period.

Tarot Made easy

This is an introductory course on reading the Tarot.  Although their are many books out there on how to read the Tarot cards, they are often just a list of what each card means and it requires a lot of memorization.  This orkshop
will give you some basic information and some shortcuts to get you started on the fascinating art of Tarot reading.  Bring your cards and let's have some fun with them.

Michael Cheiron (aka, Lord Cheiron) is the founder, High Priest and Elder of LunaFyre Sanctuary in the North Georgia Mountains and a High Priest with the Family of the Rising Phoenix in California.  Michael  is a world traveler  who has explored many spiritual paths during his life. As a Teaching Reiki Master and a teacher of metaphysics, mysticism and the occult, he owned and operated 'Wisdom Quest' metaphysical school in Atlanta for several years.  Michael was on
the faculty of the Atlantian Mystery School and has taught at many Pagan Festivals, Pagan Pride Days and other gatherings in the Southeast.  He is very active in the Atlanta Pagan Community and as a member of Covenant of the Goddess 
and participates their prison outreach program.  In addition to being a well 
known teacher and mentor in the Pagan community, Michael is working on a book 
about "Men in the Craft", to come out soon.  He is a retired therapist with a masters degree in social work (MSW) and a doctorate in Gerontology. 

He currently lives in Northeast Georgia with his wife Dragonfly, his dogs Luna and Shadow.

Therefore, it is a tool to be used by many different religions and spiritual paths. In this workshop we will explore the Qabalah from a Pagan point of view, bringing it into terms and concepts that we can understand and relate.

Dean Zeller

Basic Firespinning

Firespinning is an enjoyable and exciting activity, but it is not
without its risks.  In order to become a firespinner, one must start with the
basics in understanding the risks involved, and how to minimize the risks.  This
Workshop teaches the basics on how to be a firespinner with any prop.  It will
discuss the following:
* The philosophy of firespinning in general
* The concept of Flow
* Safety precautions

The workshop will have a simulation to practice how to extinguish a burning
prop, how to spot an unexpected flame, and the proper tools for fire safety.

Dean L. Zeller is an assistant professor of information technology at Florida
State College at Jacksonville.  He achieved his Masters of Science in computer
science from Bowling Green State University in 1996, as well as his Bachelors of
Science in mathematics and computer science in 1992.  Dean has fifteen years of
experience in K-12 and higher-education, including computer applications,
programming, educational technology, mathematics, and graphic/web design.  Aside
from teaching, Dean is also interested in firespinning, cooking, comic books,
role-playing games, wilderness survival, percussion, and board games.
Group Massage

A group massage is a massage therapy session involving
three to six people, where each participant in turn receives a full-body massage
from the others.  This workshop introduces the concept of group massage therapy
to all participants, including basic massage therapy etiquette, use of massage
oils, effleurage strokes, rhythmic massage, and proper technique in stretching. 
After 15 minutes, the massage recipient switches and it all starts again.  Join
in the community by participating in a therapeutic group massage.
This workshop is free of charge for all participants.  


Rhythmic Massage

Tapotement is a rhythmic percussion form of massage therapy, primarily
used to "wake up" the nervous system and release lymphatic build up in
the back and shoulders. Through the use of special devices called "Bongers",
anyone can quickly learn the proper techniques to give and receive rhythmic
massages. This massage technique is particularly useful for drummers,
who already have a good sense of rhythm, beat, and pressure.

Hello my name is Corey Fisher and I am a Contact Staff Fire Spinner and Fire Eater. I have been spinning staff for over 10 year and have been spinning Contact Fire Staff for almost 3 years. I have taught many staff and fire eating classes. I have worked with many famous Contact Staff spinners such as Aileen Lawlor, Jeremy Croxton, and Ted Petrosky to perfect my art. Fire Eating is something new that I have recently added to my repertoire I have been doing it for almost a year and am eager to share my knowledge. I love what i do and hope to share it with all of you.


Staffing A to Z

This is an entry level class where i teach basic staff movement such as how to hold and spin a staff properly, how to move the staff around your body, the various beats that you spin a staff, and various entry level moves ( rotors, turning rotors, windmills, finger spins, hand wraps, helicopters, and tosses)


Yummy Fire

In this class we will be going basic fire eating. We will be covering safety first then the basic techniques for eating fire without burning yourself.
I'm gonna Pinch You

In this class i will be showing you various stalls and direction changes and all the areas you can make these changes with your staff. We will be bring your staffing skills to a whole new level. 


Break Down that Contact Staff

This is a beginner to intermediate class it is good to have some basic staff movement already down. I will be teaching some basic contact moves. What are contact moves you ask?Contact moves are where you are moving the staff over your body without using you hands. I will be teaching neck wraps, halos, angels, fishtails, SNES (shoulder neck shoulder), and Steves

Amoura is an Ordained Minister of the Church and School of Wicca, Hinton, West Virginia, established by Gavin and Yvonne Frost. She is a master’s prepared nurse as well as a Reiki Master/Teacher and Healing Touch Practitioner. Amoura also offers Level I Craniosacral Therapy and is currently studying to become a Wellness Life Coach.

African Style Hand Drumming

As a group we will explore traditional West African rhythms for djembe and djun djuns,
such as, Uffunu, Acon Con, Lenjen, and Plo.  All skill levels are welcome.

Anthony Darmana is an artist, musician, and teacher in Melbourne Florida and a facilitator
of community drum circles around the state. He  discovered his passion for drumming in 1995 and is
one of the founding members of the Melbourne Drum Tribe since 2000. He has studied traditional West African djembe rhythms with various teachers since 2004.

Anthony has made it his life's mission to incorporate his passion into everyday life.
His percussive skills can be found on a multitude of CDs, ranging from Middle Eastern,
Jazz Fusion, Reggae, and instrumental music, as well as many others. Currently,
he is a creative member of Nuclear Umbrella, Local 518, and The Brevard Busking Coalition.

Frame Drum Workshop

A Frame Drum is defined as the diameter of the drum being larger than the
depth of the drum shell; sometimes these are referred to as Loop or Hoop drums. 
I will explain positioning and hand technique for the instrument as well as go a
number of different rhythms that can be played on the instrument, these rhythms
are a great tool for trance and meditation as well as a great opportunity for
free form vocalization.

Creating the Community Altar

An altar is a tool for focusing our intention. Please join
us as we build our community altar, infusing the altar with loving, healing,
joyful energies to strengthen our sense of community. We all have many different
paths, yet the common languages are love, community, and drum; so many different
things can be used to symbolize the energies we are all bringing together.

to bring items (on loan) to be placed on the altar, such as, cloths/tapestries,
statues, candles, flowers, photos of loved ones in need of healing energy and/or
photos to honor and remember those who have passed.Please bring
these items with you during the scheduled workshop as these items will create
the foundation.
 
We also encourage the donation of any items, such as, fruits, snacks, candy, and/or
drinks for which you would like to share with the community. The altar becomes a
place of sustenance for the long and beautiful night ahead. These donations can
be dropped off anytime at The Love Hut vending booth.
