As a community herbalist, she has been studying our plant allies for many years, focusing on medicinal and edible plants of the Southeastern US. 

Joan will be hosting a Salve Making workshop: Let’s see what plant allies we have on site, infuse them in oil, take infused oils and make them into a green healing salve. You will come away with an understanding of the properties of the plants we used, salve making procedures, and some of the salve we make.
