Stop by to help and learn with Grey Ghosthawk and Donella as they build the sweat lodge for our two community sweat lodges being held during Phoenix Phyre 2025. Friday 10am: Women’s Lodge presented by Donella & Brandy, Saturday 10am Co-Ed Sweat Lodge presented by Grey Ghosthawk & Brandy.

Gardening with the Moon is an ages old practice that uses the zodiac and the moon to determine all gardening chores such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, weeding, and resting. Join Trisha Parker to learn how easy it is to grow beautiful, healthy, powerful plants and connect more deeply with the Universe.

Have you ever wanted to help construct the main ritual? Are you a returning member of the Phoenix Phamily or new to our festival? It makes no difference! This workshop is open to all!!! We will be discussing general ritual etiquette for the first few minutes and then jumping into the nuts and bolts of ritual construction.  This festival we are working to achieve balance with the elements and raising healing energy on a global scale. We have roles for everyone, regardless of experience level. Those that choose to accept roles will be asked to attend additional workshops and rehearsals.

Join newly initiated priestess Nellie as she explores the triple-aspect energy of Mother Earth — and how it can transform your understanding of working with Her magic. From the Roman Earth goddess festivals to uncovering the identity of the “Demetrioi” mentioned by Plutarch, Nellie will share her sources, personal experiences, and insights into each aspect. The session will also include a creative exercise and a mini ritual to honor these powerful energies.

When the trials ended in Salrm, after 1692, the authorizes vowed that never again would this happen. Of course in Salem and beyond, people did not suddenly not believe in witches or magic in their world. We will look at the survival of these beliefs and practices, and their transformations up to the present day, moving beyond Salem to other areas and different beliefs. Come with ideas, questions and additions!

Join Bobbie for an enlightening journey that includes energy work and ancestral connections. Discover the power of visiting cemeteries and graveyards to gather ancestral dirt from family graves. Learn how this unique practice can forge a strong connection with your ancestors. Explore the thought of creating ancestral altars and their benefits. This class will also delve into methods for communicating with the dead to gain valuable insights and understanding from the energies of those who have passed.

This class will also highlight the importance of examining the times in which your ancestors lived and offering you a deeper insight into their lives and your own growth.

Beneath the surface of our waking world lies a sacred triad of mystery and transformation. In this immersive spiritual workshop, we will explore three distinct underworld realms: The Realm of the Ancestors and Deep Ones, where wisdom and kinship await; The Crystalline Caverns and Underground Oceans, the wild womb of chaotic creation; The Realm of Perpetual Darkness, the silent space of endings, rest, and rebirth. Each realm offers its own medicine—ancestral guidance, creative ignition, and deep soul restoration. Through guided meditation, discussion, journaling, and sigil craft, participants will learn to journey through these realms, forge personal connections, and retrieve insight for their magical and mundane lives.

Learn how the Native American Medicine Wheel can be used as a guide to your personal path. Spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.

A medicine wheel, also known as a sacred hoop or sacred circle, is a significant symbol used in many Indigenous cultures, particularly in North America. It represents a holistic view of life, encompassing physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects.

Join Christine Cunningham Ashworth for an intimate talk and Q&A about her brother, Scott Cunningham, inspired by her book 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒕𝒕 𝑪𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒉𝒂𝒎 – 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒏. Discover the personal stories behind his beloved works and gain insight into the man who shaped modern Pagan literature.

Breath, blood, bone, drone, Om . . . Join music duo Wandering Spiral (Michelle Davidson and Rick de Yampert) for a Skyclad Sound Bath.  After a brief introduction exploring the cosmic mechanics of sacred sound (the perfect 5th interval, the mystic psychics of music, and more), Wandering Spiral will present a continuous, 45-minute sound journey into bliss, trance and healing via ethereal techno-tribal music played on sitar, Native American flutes, crystal singing bowls, metal and wooden tongue drums, world percussion and digital tabla.

This special sound bath will be presented skyclad, with everyone nude – performers and participants. Please bring a blanket or yoga mat, and some sort of pillow or headrest so that you will be comfortable lying down. Sitting in a chair is allowed, but please note that the benefits of a sound bath are best obtained when lying in a supine position (back to the floor).

The goal of a sound bath is to alter your consciousness so you can “altar” your consciousness – quieten what the Buddhists call the constantly jabbering “monkey mind” so that you can enter a trance state, open your Third Eye and access the Sacred Realms.   Or just listen and chillax.

This year, Phoenix Phyre is hosting a Druid Land Blessing rite on Thursday evening. Led by Dasos Crowsong and Oracle Hekataios – both initiates in Druid Orders – they will lead you into a ceremony of contacting and healing the land we walk on, creating a spiritual impact between us, the ancestors of the earth, and the spirits that also inhabit the ecosystems.

Bardic Circle is truly sacred as it is one of the most authentically ancient practices we have available to us today. The human voice was the first musical instrument, the first method of passing the stories and songs of laughter, love, and lore from the old ones to the young ones. To be in a true Bardic Circle is to walk the path of the Ancients “IRL”. Come join in the fun, there is no skill level requirement. Content related to the Phestival theme or time of year is appreciated, but not required. We prefer that performances be “unplugged” without electrical enhancement.

Explore the spirit realm of dream communication with psychic medium Michelle Davidson. In this workshop Michelle will discuss her personal experiences with spirit contact in dreams and how they inspired her to write their stories in her book, “Florida’s Haunted Hospitality.”  Learn about the different types of dreams and how they are conducive to direct spirit contact in psychic, telepathic, astral travel, and divine dreams. The divine have been summoned for thousands of years in ancient civilizations, temples, and rituals concerning sacred sleep to induce prophecies, warnings, spiritual guidance, and signs.

Whether it’s a deceased loved one, ancestor, spirit guide, deity, or god or goddess you seek a message from, your subconscious mind in dreams can be a gateway of spiritual exploration.  Learn how to create a sacred sleep session with invocations, ritual, altar, and personal rites. In this workshop we will also be making a dream journal using symbols, collage, and imagery around your own spiritual beliefs. The workshop will show you how to use your dream journal and interpret your own dreams with the divine.  (Suggested donation of $10 for supplies?) Michelle Davidson is a psychic medium, artist, musician, and author of the book “Florida’s Haunted Hospitality.”   She channels the Divine White Light, Angels, Ancestors, Spirit Guides, and Loved Ones to work as a Messenger and Energy Practitioner to help people and spirits in their journeys. Michelle offers psychic readings and house cleansings in person and online. She uses channeling, mediumship, and oracle cards in a session to tap into the past, present, and future of one’s soul path.  Michelle works out of the Spiritualist community of Cassadaga, Florida. She has traveled across the US presenting talks and paranormal investigations.

Please arrive well hydrated.  There will be a quick explanation of what to expect prior to entering the lodge. Be advised: you are NOT required to stay for the entire session & may leave the lodge at any time if you feel uncomfortable.

This workshop is a ceremonial journey through the sacred art of letting go. Rooted in the mystical power of the number nine—symbol of completion, fulfillment, and transformation—we honor the end of a cycle and surrender to what is ready to be released. Through breath, movement, and ritual, we awaken the body as a temple of wisdom, soften resistance, and call in the Crone—She Who Knows When to Let Go.

Let the rhythm move what words cannot.
Enter the Ninth Gate.
Close the circle. Rise renewed.

What to Bring: Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, or towel for floor-based movement and meditation, along with a journal and water to stay nourished and hydrated. Most importantly, come with an open heart and a curious spirit. All bodies, all journeys—are welcome here.

Bring your blanket or chair and picnic lunch to enjoy the relaxing sound of  original East-West fusion, Buddha lounge and trance soundscapes, plus their arrangements of Beatles classics and Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.”  Their instrument palette includes sitar, Native American and Arabic flutes, metal and wooden tongue drums, digital tabla, bass, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, tribal percussion and synth.  In the event of inclement weather, we will be in the Community Center.

Mala beads are used to help focus the mind during meditation and prayer. Each bead is touched or moved as a mantra or affirmation is repeated, helping the practitioner stay present and centered. All supplies will be provided and donations are welcomed.

This ritual was created for an underworld journey to the subterranean land of the dead, known in Norse mythology as Hel.  This is not a place of evil or torture like the Hell of Christianity.  It is a realm of ancestral memory, primal creative forces and the spirits of the land.  Henbane has long been associated with the dead, specifically in communicating with them and in aiding their transition to the otherworld.  In this ritual we will work with this plant spirit as a guide on our own journey to retrieve ancestral knowledge or healing or to help a spirit with their transition into dead.

When we abandon ourselves through silence, shame, or seeking approval, we leave threads of our soul in people, places, and stories that no longer serve us. In this heart-opening ritual lecture, you are invited to explore the sacred work of Soul Retrieval through the lens of Andean mysticism and the ancient teachings of the Munay-Ki Medicine Spiral.

Drawing from the North direction teachings, Laura “Mama Crow”, will guide participants to recognize where their energy has been left behind, reclaim their wholeness, and call themselves home with love and sovereignty. Come as you are—leave with more of yourself.

Laura “Mama Crow” Sellers is a Munay-Ki Mesa Carrier and student of Indigenous Andean Healing. She has been a Reiki practitioner for 30 years. You can call or text class interest and questions to her on Facebook and Instagram at: @mamacrowpaqo @portalsofbecoming

Ardy Carter, a founding member of Phoenix Festivals, hosted the inaugural Autumn Meet on her property in 1992. Today we will come together to celebrate the Traveler!

One of the best ways to learn what to expect for our Main Ritual; to hear updates about  Autumn Meet 2025; to receive guidelines for taking down your camp Sunday and to show appreciation for our presenters and Team Phoenix is to attend Village Meeting.

Did you know that 20% of all donation, auction and fundraising money is allocated to The Scholarship Fund? The remaining funds go toward keeping admission prices low while continuing to provide free crafting workshops, yummy meet and greets, quality guest speakers and entertainment.  Our auction is hosted by the hysterical and outlandish fun-guy, Robert Goodrich, and  is a fun community event and a show of its own.

Main Ritual Presented by Phoenix Family

Autumn Meet’s theme, “Surrendering to the Flow”, marks the beginning of a new cycle of themes centered around numerology. If you’re new to numerology, you’re not alone. Many people are just beginning to explore how numbers might offer insight into personality, purpose, and life paths. The number that stands out for its depth and compassion is the number 9.

This year, 2025, reduces to the number 9 (2+0+2+5=9). Known as the “wise humanitarian” of numerology, 9 holds a special place in the system for its emotional depth, global thinking, and spiritual maturity. The number 9 is also symbolic of endings and includes preparations for a new cycle about to be birthed. In other words, 9 is about letting go and transformation. This Autumn Meet, we will explore this integral time through 9: what is the significance of transition? How do we move forward? Are the troubles in our current climate worth the endurance?

Main ritual – put together by our ritual coordinator and phamily volunteers – will organize Death as the gateway to Rebirth. By Surrendering to the Flow, we can learn to be still, recognize our burdens, and release them down the river of the Underworld so we can be challenged to a new life.

Drumming & Dancing – Iniko Drum Collective

Join us at the sacred fire, where all alchemy is possible. Starting with the traditional connection of raising our voices (singing and chanting) and spirits together in harmony, we will move through the portal of divinity with rhythms and prayer. Iniko rhythm collective is a diverse group of players, with study amassed from across the world. From Africa to the United States, lining hands and spirit with sacred knowledge and understanding in order to best serve our community and humanity with the healing magic of the drum.
